3mensio Version 10.9 Release

3mensio Version 10.9 Release overview

Discover What’s New in 3mensio 10.9

Structural heart procedures continue to evolve – with increasing case complexity, redo interventions, and expanding device options. 3mensio 10.9 introduces new planning capabilities, enhanced automation, and an improved user experience to support faster, more precise procedural planning.

What’s New

New Features

  • Multiple placement strategies for the second TAV, supporting more precise valve-in-valve planning for redo TAVI and TAV-in-SAV cases.
  • Calcium visualization in the angio-view: get a clearer read of calcification burden directly where you need it.
  • 3D neo-LVOT geometry: the (neo-)LVOT is now available as a 3D geometry within the volume rendering and angio-view, giving a more intuitive understanding of obstruction risk.

Automation

  • Annulus detection for surgical rings: suggested annulus detection, previously available for native mitral valves, now extends to surgical rings.
  • Suggested chamber measurements: atrial and ventricular dimensions are proposed automatically in the mitral and tricuspid module.
  • Suggested index valve measurements: selecting a suggested measurement location automatically places a polygon trace, ready to adjust and confirm.
  • Automated septum: the septum plane and contour are drawn automatically, fully adjustable, with manual definition still available.

Save Custom Valves

  • Custom virtual valves, including preferred device offset, can now be saved once and reused for future cases, available directly in the dropdown under the name you choose.

Smarter User Experience

  • Hide vessels and measurements: show or hide all at once, or manage them individually, without losing any data.
  • Adjustable min/max rule: now configurable in the peripheral workflows, including femoral, carotid, subclavian, and IVC/SVC.
  • Clean screenshots: hide all embedded pictures at once directly from the screenshot popup.
  • Personalized information display: the Select Info menu now allows individual measurements to be shown or hidden via checkboxes.
