The Nit Occlud® PFO is a nitinol PFO occluder designed for the transcatheter closure of a patent foramen ovale (PFO). The system has been specifically developed for the safe and effective closure of this congenital heart defect.

Innovative Single Wire Design without Clamps

The PFO occluder is manufactured from a single nitinol wire without protruding fixation clamps. Its single layer distal disc reduces the amount of nitinol in the left atrium and supports a slim, atraumatic implant design.
